群発頭痛症例　NO３５　小学生の頃から苦しみ、現在は心筋梗塞でイミグランが使用不可。

４０代　男性

小学生の頃に群発頭痛を発症。時代が悪く仮病ではないかと疑われることも多く、とても辛い思いをした。群発期によって左右ランダムだがベースは右で初診時も右でした。周期は半年～１半年。１年に２回来ることが多い。１日の発作回数は２～３回で３０分～２時間継続する。１０年程前に心筋梗塞を起こし、イミグランを使用出来ないため発作は耐えるしかない。若い頃に比べて痛みレベルが下がってきていることが救い。

［経過］

・左右とも反応が出ているが、明らかに右の方が強い。

・４日後に２回目の施術。来院される前日に１回MAXの発作が起きてしまった。当日にも発作が起きたが、とても軽くレベルは１～２。それ以外の日は発作なし。発作回数が激減したが、前日にMAXが来てしまったことが引っかかる。

・６日後に３回目の施術。当日にレベル１～２が１回。それ以外は発作なし。大分良い。

・２週間後に４回目の施術。前回施術から２～３日は１日１回、レベル１以下が１時間。それ以降は調子が良かったが、なぜか来院当日にまたレベル１が出現。ほぼ日常に問題ないため集中施術は終了。

群発期の周期が短いので、定期調整をおすすめしました。どうしても群発期が終わると群発の痛みをすっかり忘れてしまいがちですが、やはり定期調整は成功率が高く、群発期に痛みに耐えることや、日常生活、仕事に影響することを考えればとても良い選択肢ではないかと思います。

今症例のようにイミグランが使用出来ない方、そもそも効かない方にとっては希望を持って頂けたのではないでしょうか。
