群発頭痛症例　NO２５　色々な事を試してきたが…

３０代後半　男性　千葉県習志野市

・１０年前に群発頭痛を発症。群発期の周期は２年に１回、１カ月半～２カ月続く。群発頭痛発作は１日に１～２回、継続時間が長いと４時間強いレベルで続く。薬はイミグラン点鼻薬とイミグランのジェネリック、スマトリプタンを使用。効きはいまいちで痛みのレベルは下がるが、スッと消えるわけはない。今まで色々な病院や、頭痛専門の整体などに通ったが全く改善せず、藁にも縋るような思いで当院に来院。

［経過］

・初診時は群発期開始から１カ月弱経っていたが、まだまだピークの状態で終わる気配なし。夜あまり眠れない状態が続き、心も体も疲れ切ったご様子。全身を整体で整え、左の群発頭痛ラインもしっかりと施術。

・２日後に２日目の施術。翌日は久しぶりに群発頭痛発作がなく、よく眠れた。しかし来院当日はレベル５位の症状が４時間続き辛かった。まだまだだが、少し良い反応もあったので、男性自身も期待感あり。

・３日後に３回目の施術。翌日また群発頭痛発作なし。しかし翌日にレベル８が１時間、当日はレベル５が４時間で来院された時も辛そう。発作が出ているときに施術すると、直後にはスッキリしてしまう事が多いのですが、今回はそうもいかず、しばらく辛そうでした。まだ発作は出るものの２回起きることはなくなった。

・５日後に４回目の施術。大分落ち着いてきた。群発頭痛発作が起きない日が増え、精神的に大分楽。

・９日後に５回目の施術。２回出たがレベル１程度なので薬も飲まず。またしっかり全身を整体で整える。左ラインの反応も弱くなったので終了。

群発期は短くなり発作の回数も減りました。男性自身もこれから群発頭痛とどう向き合えばいいかわかり前向きになってくださいました。しかし、群発期中盤から後半だったにも関わらず施術回数が少し長くなってしまいました。本来であればもう少し効きが良くてもいいのですが、この方の群発頭痛エネルギーが強く抑えきれなかったと思われます。ご本人の希望もありこれから１カ月に１度定期的に整体で調整し改善を目指していこうと思います。

Although the effect is not so good, the level of pain goes down but there is no way it will disappear suddenly. Until now I attended various hospitals and body management specializing in headache, but I did not improve at all, I came to our hospital because I thought it was straw.

Treatment course

· At the time of the first visit, it took less than a month since the beginning of the swarm but there is no sign that it will end in a state of peak still more. A state where I can not sleep very much in the night continued, and my heart and body also got tired. It arranges the whole body in a regular manner, and firmly practices the left cluster headache line.

· Treatment on day 2 after 2 days. The next day it was a long time since I had a cluster headache but I could sleep well. However, on the day of visit, the symptom at level 5 continued for 4 hours and it was hard. Although it is still there, there was a slightly good response, so the patient himself expectation.

· Third treatment after 3 days. Next day also no cluster headache attack. But the next day when level 8 is 1 hour, on that day level 5 seems to be intense when visiting in 4 hours. Treatment when seizures are coming out often causes refreshment immediately afterwards, but this patient did not seem to be so for a while. Although attacks still appeared, it never occurred twice.

· Fourth treatment after 5 days. Oita calmed down. The days when cluster headache attacks do not occur increases, it is mental odor easiness.

· 5th treatment after 9 days. I came out twice, but it is about level 1 so I will not take medicine. Also arrange the whole body well. Because the reaction on the left line also weakened, intensive care is over.

The burst period was shortened and the number of attacks decreased. The patient himself was also positive for understanding how to cope with cluster headaches from now on. However, despite being in the latter half of the cluster period, the number of treatments became a little longer. Even though it may be a little more effective if it is originally, it seems that the cluster headache energy of this person could not be suppressed strongly. There is also hope of the person himself, I think that I will aim for complete recovery by regularly adjusting it regularly once a month from now.
