群発頭痛症例　NO５４　根っこが深いパターン

副院長に任せっきりになっていたブログを、久しぶりに更新させて頂きます。

今回の症例は５０代の男性で、群発頭痛歴は１２年の方です。
こちらのクライアント様は元々、潜在性群発頭痛といってお酒を飲んだ時だけ発作が起こるタイプでした。
ですから群発期に入ったらすぐにお酒を断ち、群発期が終わるまで禁酒を続けていれば問題なしということでした。
しかし今期はお酒を飲んでいなくても、発作を起こすようになってしまい、当院に来院されました。
潜在性群発頭痛から通常の群発頭痛に移行してしまった原因はわかりません。原因不明です。

潜在性群発頭痛の考え方として、お酒を飲まなければ発作を起こすことはありませんので、通常の群発頭痛と比べると軽度であるとしています。※軽視しているわけではありません。
今回も初回にその旨をお伝えし、恐らく３回くらいで大分落ち着いてくれるだろうと予想していました。
しかし結果的に、完全消失するまで６回も要してしまいました。

《経過》

初回来院時の２週間前から、１日１～２回毎日発作が起こるようになってしまった。

発作のレベルとしては平均レベル５～６程度ですが、毎日発作に襲われるという経験がなかったので、相当お辛い様子でした。私としてもひどい症例ばかり頭に残っていましたが、改めて群発頭痛の痛みの強さ、恐ろしさを再確認しました。

経過としましては、正直申し上げまして少し緩慢でした。症状が劇的に改善した５回目の施術まではほぼ変化なしという苦しい状況が続いてしまいました。

こちらのクライアント様は元々、筋肉の質が硬く、更に群発の原因となる根っこが深く、なかなか核心をとらえることが出来ませんでした。

しかし徐々に表層の筋緊張っがほぐれ、核心をとらえると、その日から全く発作が出なくなりました。

《考察》

今回は予想よりも多く通院して頂く結果になってしまいました。

しかし今回の結果により、次回の群発期にどのように施術していけばよいかわかったことは、クライアント様にとっても、私にとっても大きな収穫となりました。

間違いなく、次回の群発期はより効率的に効果を出せます。

もし今回、途中で諦めてしまっていたら、このクライアント様は当分群発頭痛に苦しむことになっていたでしょう。

今起きている群発期の発作に対して、向かっていくこともすごく大切です。でも群発頭痛は今期が終わってもまたいつかやって来てしまいます。ですから当院で過ごす、初回の群発期は是非大切にして下さい。

その頑張りが次にまたやってくる、群発期に繋がっていきます。

This client was originally a type of seizure that occurred only when drinking alcohol with a latent cluster headache.
Therefore, it was said that there was no problem if you stopped drinking as soon as you entered the group period and continued to ban alcohol until the end of the group period.
However, this season, even if he did not drink alcohol, he began to have seizures and visited our hospital.
I do not know the cause of the transition from latent cluster headache to normal cluster headache. The cause is unknown.

The idea of ​​latent cluster headache is that it does not cause seizures unless you drink alcohol, so it is milder than normal cluster headache. * We are not neglecting it.
This time, I told you about it for the first time, and expected that it would probably calm down in about three times.
However, as a result, it took six times to completely disappear.

《Progress》

Seizures began to occur once or twice a day for two weeks before the first visit.

The average seizure level is around 5-6, but it seemed quite painful because I had no experience of seizures every day. Although I had a terrible case in my mind, I reconfirmed the intensity and horror of the cluster headache.

To be honest, I was a little slow. The painful situation of almost no change continued until the fifth treatment, where symptoms improved dramatically.

This client originally had hard muscles and deep roots that caused swarms, so it was difficult to capture the core.

However, gradually the muscle tension of the surface layer was loosened, and when I caught the heart, I had no seizures from that day.

<Discussion>

This time, I had more results than expected.

However, this result proved to be a big yield for both the client and me that I knew how to perform the treatment in the next swarm period.

Without a doubt, the next swarm will be more effective.

If you had given up this time, this client would have suffered a cluster headache for the time being.

It is also very important to head toward the seizures that are happening now. However, cluster headaches will come again sometime after this term. Therefore, please cherish the first swarm period at our hospital.

It will lead to the swarm period, when that effort will come again.
