群発頭痛症例　NO３８ イミグランに助けられ、そして苦しめられた

60代　女性　北海道旭川市

約40年前に群発頭痛を発症。イミグラン皮下注射を使用し始めたのは10年程前。群発周期は半年に一回(イミグランを使い始める前は1年周期)で2～3カ月続く。周期は短くなり期間は長くなっている。発作回数は1日4回と多い。特に今期は2カ月経過してもまだ無くなる気配がないどころか、更に悪化しているということでご相談を頂きました。

［経過］

遠方からのお問い合わせでしたので、現在のイミグランの影響で群発期が延長している状況で施術を開始しても、群発期を回避出来る可能性が低いということを承知頂いた上で来院されまさした。

南浦和駅近くに取って頂き4日間連続で施術しました。触診すると群発頭痛が出ている左ラインに反応があるものの、思っていたよりもかなり薄い。この反応の薄さもイミグランによる薬物乱用性のものと思われる。

翌日2回目の施術。全く変化なし。左ラインに少し揉み返しが起きてしまった。※元々揉み返しやすい体質であるということは問診時に確認済み。

3回目、4回目も同様なね変化が出せず終わってしまいました。しかし今後についてアドバイスさせて頂き納得して帰られました。

その後の経過

施術から1カ月半後にご報告がありました。北海道に戻ってからも相変わらず、発作が続いてしまい苦しい状態が続いてしまったということでした。このままでは群発期が終わらないので、痛みに耐えイミグランを絶つと次第に発作回数が減っていきました。この時点で群発期開始から4カ月弱。それからまた半月後に、群発期終了のご報告を頂きました。約4カ月半群発頭痛と戦いました。結局イミグランを絶つことで群発期を終わらせることがてきた形になります。

今後について

これくらいイミグランの影響を強く受けてしまうと、群発期に施術を開始してもすぐに効果を出せる可能性が低くなってしまいます。ですから次の群発期を防ぐことが非常に大切になります。もういつ改善してもおかしくないご年齢ですが、今回のようにイミグランの影響を強く受け、周期や期間に乱れが生じているとそうもいきません。次回までの期間しっかり予防施術を続けいかにイミグランの使用料を減らしていくかが鍵となります。

若い方の中にもたまにイミグランやプレドニンの影響を受けている方がいます。そういった場合は必ず予防施術をおすすめしています。群発期が終わると通院するモチベーションを保つことが難しくなりますが、是非頑張って通院頂きたいと思っています。群発頭痛も他の病気と同様、こじらせてしまうと改善に時間がかかるようになってしまいます。そうならないよう当院の説明や想いをご理解頂ければ幸いです。

Cluster headache developed about 40 years ago. About 10 years ago I started using Immigran hypodermic injection. The swarm cycle lasts 2 to 3 months once every 6 months (1 year cycle before using imigran). The period becomes shorter and the period becomes longer. The number of seizures is as many as 4 times a day. Especially for the current term I received a consultation from the fact that it has not deteriorated yet even after two months has elapsed, and further deterioration has occurred.

Treatment course

Since it was an inquiry from afar, he was informed that he was unlikely to avoid the swarming period even if he started treatment in the situation where the cluster sweep was extended due to the influence of the current imigran I am right.

I took it near Minami Urawa Station and treated it for 4 consecutive days. Clinical headaches appear on palpation, but there is a reaction in the left line, but it is considerably thinner than I thought. The thinness of this reaction is also considered to be drug abuse by imigran.

The second treatment on the next day. No change at all. A little massage returned to the left line. ※ It is confirmed at inquiry that it is a constitution which is easy to rub back easily.

The third and fourth times did not change so much and ended. However, I was able to advise on the future and I was satisfied and went back.

After that

There was a report one and a half months after treatment. Even after I returned to Hokkaido, my seizure continued and the painful condition continued. As it is like this, the swarming period has not ended, so when you endured the pain and discontinued Immigran, the number of attacks gradually declined. At this point it is less than 4 months from the start of the cluster. Then another half month later, I received a report on the end of the cluster. I fought with cluster headache for about 4 months and a half. Eventually it will be the form that you can finish the swarm by breaking Immigran.

About the future

If you are strongly influenced by imigran, it is unlikely that you will be able to make an immediate effect even if you start treatment at the time of cluster. So it is very important to prevent the next cluster period. It is noisy age to cure any more, but as with this time it is strongly influenced by imigran and it is not going to happen if disorder occurs in the cycle or period. How to continue preventive treatment until the next time How to reduce Immigran’s usage fee is the key.

Some young people also sometimes get influenced by Immigran and Predonin. Preventive treatment is always recommended for such cases. It is difficult to keep motivation to go to hospital at the end of the group period, but I definitely want to do my best to come to the hospital. As with other diseases, swarm headache also becomes time consuming to improve if it becomes irritated.
