群発頭痛症例　NO３３　１回目の施術後に今までで最強の発作が出てしまったが…

３０代　男性　東京都

・１８歳で群発頭痛を発症。１年おきに群発期がやって来る。１日の発作回数は１～２回で１～３時間続く。期間は３週間～１カ月。イミグラン点鼻薬やマクサルト、プレドニンを使用。プレドニンに関しては今期使わずに済んだ。トリプタン製剤は早めに服用するとよく効く。プレドニンも効果を感じていらっしゃるようでした。

［経過］

・右ラインの反応非常に弱いが深部に硬結を認める。整体で全体調整もしっかり行う。

・翌日に２回目の施術。昨夜２：００頃、今までで最強の発作が起きてしまった。１時間半ほど継続。より入念にポイントを探る。

・２日後に３回目の施術。当日発作なし。翌日２回発作が来た。昼にレベル２～３が１時間、夜１０頃にモヤーっと来たが痛みまではいかなかった。いずれもマクサルトを使用。改善の傾向。

・８日後に４回目の施術。前回からモヤっと来るものの、痛みはなし。大分良い。

・６日後に５回目の施術。通常なら前回で様子を見てもよかったが、次週にハワイ旅行のためダメ押しの施術。

１カ月後に完治に向けての定期調整にいらして頂きました。成田空港でお酒を飲んだが大丈夫で、飛行機ももちろん問題なし。現地でも特に発作が起きることもなく快適に過ごして頂けました。

初回の施術後の反動が非常に大きかったため、内心かなり心配していました。その後の経過が良く一安心です。

· Cluster headache developed at the age of 18. The cluster phase arrives every other year. The number of attacks per day is 1 to 2 times and lasts 1 to 3 hours. The period is 3 weeks to 1 month. Imigran nasal drops, Maxalsult, Predonin used. Regarding prededon, I did not use it this season. Triptan formulation works well if taken early. Predonin seemed to feel the effect.

Treatment course

· The reaction on the right line is very weak, but it has induration in the deep part. Maintenance is carried out firmly and overall adjustment.

· The second treatment on the next day. Last night at around 2:00, the strongest attack ever took place. Continue for about an hour and a half. Explore points more carefully.

· 3rd treatment after 2 days. There is no seizure on the day. Seizures came twice the next day. Levels 2 – 3 came 1 hour in the day, Moya came around 10, but did not go to pain. Both use Maxals. Trend of improvement.

· Fourth treatment after 8 days. Although it gets wet at last from the last time, there is no pain. Oita good.

· Fifth treatment after 6 days. Normally it was good to see the situation in the last time, but the procedure of pushing for hawaii travel next week.

I went to the regular adjustment for complete recovery in a month. Although I drank alcohol at Narita airport, I had no problems with airplanes as well. I was able to spend comfortably without a seizure, especially on the site.

Because the rebound after the first treatment was very big, I was worried about my inner feeling. After that the process is a lot of relief.
